Southeast Economic Zone, Nghe An Province, Vietnam, November 5, 2025 — Hoa Thinh Energy Co., Ltd., a leading local aluminum enterprise in Vietnam, announced today that its 19,000-square-meter epoxy microbead wear-resistant flooring renovation project in the factory has been officially put into use. As a benchmark project for manufacturing upgrading in Nghe An Province, the project not only significantly improves the safety factor and operational efficiency of the production workshop but also pioneers a new model for Vietnamese industrial enterprises to improve employees' working environment through hardware renovation.
With decades of experience in the aluminum industry, Nghe An Hoa Thinh Energy has now ranked among the top 10 aluminum processing enterprises in Vietnam, with products covering industrial aluminum profiles, architectural aluminum alloys, aluminum foil products and other fields. The factory floor renovation with substantial investment this time is a core measure of the company's strategy of "dual improvement in safe production and employee well-being."
According to the project director, the newly laid epoxy microbead wear-resistant flooring adopts silica and alumina composite ceramic microbead materials, with a hardness reaching Mohs hardness scale of 7. Compared with traditional cement floors, its wear resistance is improved by more than 3 times. The special concave-convex surface formed by hundreds of millions of micron-sized ceramic particles increases the floor friction coefficient by 40%, effectively solving the common oil slip problem in aluminum processing workshops. "In the aluminum profile processing area, you can hardly hear the traditional sharp friction sound when forklifts pass over the new floor, and the noise decibel is reduced by 15-20 decibels," Nguyen Van Hai, a worker operating CNC processing equipment, showed to reporters.
The put-in-use of this flooring also brings significant operational benefits. Due to the seamless surface and special anti-pollution coating, the workshop cleaning time is shortened by 50%, saving about $23,000 in monthly cleaning labor costs. At the same time, its excellent compressive performance (can withstand 500 tons/m² load) can effectively resist the long-term rolling of heavy processing equipment, and the expected service life can reach 15 years, which is more than double that of traditional flooring.
Tran Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An Province, said at the completion ceremony: "Hoa Thinh Energy's initiative is highly consistent with the province's manufacturing upgrading plan." According to statistics, Nghe An Province has been among the top 10 provinces attracting foreign investment in Vietnam for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. Currently, it is focusing on building industrial clusters such as the Southeast Economic Zone, and plans to add 20-25 industrial projects in 2025. "Enterprises incorporating employee well-being into their development considerations is one of the core competitiveness of Nghe An Province in attracting high-quality investment."
It is worth noting that the project draws on internationally advanced industrial space design concepts. In the workshop planning, a 2,000-square-meter "green buffer zone" is specially set up, and local ferns are planted at the edge of the flooring, which not only plays a role in visual guidance but also regulates the microclimate of the workshop. This design combining functional flooring with ecological elements is the first of its kind in Vietnamese manufacturing factories.
Dang Minh Tuan, General Manager of the company, emphasized: "We believe that every 1 decibel reduction in noise and 1% increase in safety factor will be converted into an improvement in employee productivity." It is reported that Hoa Thinh Energy has received an invitation from the Vietnam Aluminum Association to promote the flooring renovation standards into the industry's safety production guidelines, and will share renovation experience with 12 provincial enterprises in its supply chain in the future.
